Canadian Flight Centre’s aerobatic instructor rating course is delivered on our 2009 Super Decathlon out of Boundary Bay airport. Extensive groundwork is done on both the in-depth understanding of the maneuvers, as well as instructional techniques on how to pass your knowledge to another excited future aerobatic pilot.
PRE-REQUISITE: Commercial Pilot License Flight Test Completed. Grade 12 or equivalent, or 19+ years old.
We'll do a tailwheel course, rear seat tailwheel conversion and aerobatic course unless it was completed prior.
AGE: An applicant shall have reached his/her eighteenth birthday.
MEDICAL FITNESS: Be in possession of Category I medical.
KNOWLEDGE: 15 hours of aerobatic instructor ground school instruction.
FLIGHT EXPERIENCE: 10 hours of instructor pilot flight training.
SKILL: Applicant shall successfully complete a flight test to Transport Canada Standards.
